[title]

A warm and hazy day on tap in Central Indiana with high temperatures ranging from 85 to near 90. An upper disturbance centered along the Ohio/Pennsylvania/West Virginia lines is close enough to warrant a slight shower/storm chance here. But the odds are low at 10% probability.

You'll likely notice a layer of haze/smoke in the sky. Believe it or not... this is actually remnant smoke from wildfires in the western US and parts of Canada. The upper level steering wind transported this far east and it will lead to more "organge-ish" sunrises and sunsets.

Patchy fog likely again overnight with lows in the 60 to 65 range. Another quick warm-up Tuesday with hazy sun and highs near 90.

Rain and storm coverage increases Wednesday with the approach of an upper level storm coming in from the west. The combination of tropical moisture, a stalling frontal boundary, and multiple disturbances leads to periods of heavy rain and storms... beginning Wednesday and lingering into the weekend.

Confidence remains medium to high that many areas get 1"-2"+ rainfall during that time...with locally higher amounts seeming likely too. Check back for fine-tuning of timing, coverage, and location of heaviest rain - Sean Ash
