It will be a hot and hazy day with temperatures soaring into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees. Heat indices will be in the low 90s.

Clouds will increase this evening with temperatures only falling into the upper 80s.

Showers and thunderstorms will develop on Wednesday, as an area of low pressure moves over the Great Lakes area. It will be stormy at times. A few storms could be strong to severe in west central and south central Indiana. It will be cooler with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s.

Showers and storms will continue Wednesday evening and Thursday. Some areas will pick up an inch or so of rain by Thursday evening.

A few more scattered storms will be likely Friday with highs in the low 80s.

The weekend will be mainly dry with a chance of a few storms. Afternoon highs will be in the low to mid 80s.
