BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (WTHR) - The Satanic Temple Indiana now has a sign recognizing their highway cleanup efforts on US 421.

The temple posted a photo of the "Adopt A Highway" sign on social media Monday. The group adopted a stretch of the highway that covers the two miles south of US 32 east of Lebanon and north of Zionsville.

We are very pleased to finally have the opportunity to show you our Adopt A Highway sign! #InvertedCrossroads #HailIndiana #HailSatan

The temple said in a statement this summer they applied for the program as part of their "Inverted Crossroads" campaign.

"As an idea the chapter has had since its inception, the group is glad to make a step forward and provide a service for the State," the temple said in the statement.

As part of the highway program, Satanic Temple Indiana is required to clear trash from their adopted road four times throughout the year.
