Man killed in shooting at northwest Indianapolis home

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — A man has died after a shooting on the northwest side of Indianapolis.

Police say a disagreement at a home on Normandy Road, near 30th and Georgetown, escalated and led to gunfire around 11:30 p.m. Monday.

Police found a man who was unresponsive on the scene. Medics transported him to a hospital, where he later died.

Police say at least two people got into a vehicle and fled the scene of the shooting. There was no description of the suspects or the vehicle, but witnesses may have been able to identify the suspects to police.

The investigation is ongoing, but police said the incident appears to be isolated.
